For 3 decades, the fans loved and hated Tojo. Tojo was responsible for training of many of the great Memphis wrestlers. From Jerry Jarrett to Jeff Jarrett, Tojo taught them all. For the entire 1960s, Tojo was hated. When Jerry Jarrett took over the booking of Memphis in the early 1970s, he had Tojo run into a match and save him from a double team. Tojo and Jerry Jarrett formed one of the most loved teams the area had ever seen.
